About the Team
The Ichabod Crane Trap Team was officially formed in March 2026, launching its inaugural season and opening the door for students in grades 7 through 12 to compete in a structured, disciplined shooting sport.
This program represents a major milestone for the district—the first time a shooting sport has ever been approved and offered to students. Built on a foundation of safety, responsibility, and personal growth, the team provides young athletes with the opportunity to develop confidence, focus, and lifelong skills.
With strong community backing and a dedicated group of student-athletes, the Ichabod Crane Trap Team is already building something special—laying the groundwork for a program that will thrive for years to come.
